Review of Courage Under Fire (1996) by Donna J — 21 Jan 2010
An average war movie about the investigation of a medal of honor winner. The film has strong themes of bureaucratic dishonesty and some similar political issues that often surround the army. Denzel's character takes a stand for the truth while slowly becoming an alcoholic.
Risking sounding cold-hearted, the plot's resolution is very trite and hurts the overall movie.
