Gwyneth Paltrow's singing seemed to be the big sell as part of the movie since she has appeared in song about everywhere. The film contains every element of a country song, including unfaithful spouses, a couple hopping a train and parents in prison (although not shown).

Gwyneth's character isn't particularly likable and the rest of the cast don't really have much depth. The music is probably the redeeming factor in this film.
