I wasn't really expecting much when I saw this film, I was told to, so I did. Overall, I enjoyed it. I've been watching Gossip Girl, a CW show that Leighton Meester is on for a while now, and she truly showed her acting chops in this.
I was impressed. Really who stole the show was Garrett...maybe I'm just saying that because every time he had a scene with Leighton I swooned. In all seriousness, he was good. Everyone was good. The one complaint that I have is that the movie is titled "Country Strong" yet the main lead killed herself off.
