Gwyneth Paltrow gives a strong performance as an emotionally fragile country music star. Some of the plot weaves awkwardly in places, but at its core it takes a heartfelt look at the true meaning of success, and the musical performances are terrific.
(Iâ(TM)m not a fan of country music, so thatâ(TM)s saying something).
