"Love and Fame can't live in the same place." Kelly Canter (Gwyneth Paltrow) is in rehab for alcoholism and having been traumatized for losing her baby, tripping and falling off stage drunk while performing in Dallas.
Now, she's going back to Dallas after a year for a tour from his Husband/Manager, James Canter (Tim McGraw). Along with her on the tour is Beau Hutton (Garett Hedlund) and Chilles Stanton (Leighton Meester).
A very powerful movie. Powerful performances and voices by Gwyneth Paltrow, her best yet, Tim McGraw, Garett Hedlund and Leighton Meester. The songs were spell-binding. Directed by Shana Feste.
