Probably the bravest film of 2012, Cosmopolis definitely presents itself as an acquired taste filled with philosophically complex and sometimes excessively cryptic dialogue with deadpan black comedy and a narrative structure that's not really about anything, filled with shallow yet intriguing characters.
It's a welcome return for David Cronenberg into his traditional territory and provocative and stylistic film.
