I don't really know where to begin with this one. I'll start with what I liked about the film. The cinematography was a strange sort of excellent - the limousine made things look like a Burton film with a bucket of paint thrown at them, and the camera angles added a lot of mystery to RobPatz character, whose name I have forgotten. The message about capitalism was very clear, including how people sell out to the ideas if capitalism. The last scene was excellent, with Sheets and Robert essentially fighting over ideas - the upper class and the lower class, memory and insanity. I think Robert shooting his hand was a great symbol. Oh, and the scenes with his wife were very well acted and scripted - I found them as something to look forward to.

However, through parts of the film I found myself quite bored - web he was speaking to the woman in the car when it was being defaced I completely zoned out and no doubt missed another message wrapped in poetic dialogue - mad props to the screenplay writer for essentially making a long filmic poem. I think that a second viewing would help unravel more for me, ad I will watch it again when I have more time, but I did thoroughly enjoy the experience, except a little bit. I think it merits 4 stars for performances and cinematography alone, so I will leave it at that until I learn more about the symbolism.
