Review of Cosmopolis (2012) by Brandon B — 17 Jan 2013
Robert Pattinson's most interesting film is also David Cronenberg's least. Asserts its emotional weight and cultural relevance before the audience can attach to anything - intentional? We follow a billionaire, mostly while in his fancy limo, and take in the entire world along his way to a haircut.
His life is hollow, arrogant, paranoid, luxurious, sexy, and profoundly self-aware. Sounds like a good book!
