Review of Corrina, Corrina (1994) by Adam K — 24 Mar 2008
I remember watching this when I was 11 right when it came out on VHS. as always, ray liotta showcases his talent, but this time playing a fatherly role rather than the usual brute we were accustomed to seeing him play at the time.
the film touches on themes of diversity, interracial relationships and family bonds, but it seems to lack a lot of powerful elements often necessary to make a film like this stick. it has its memorable moments, but more often, it was a decently forgettable picture from one of the best years in my generation's history of film.
