Review of Corpse Bride (2005) by Krista W — 05 Feb 2012
This was almost definitely made because The Nightmare Before Christmas was still selling merchandise almost two decades after it originally came out. Corpse Bride, unfortunately, has none of the charm of the movie it exists to capitalize on.
The characters are unlikable, the dialogue is unmemorable, and the music seems half-formed. I doubt that a legion of suburban goth kids will be shelling out their allowances for Corpse Bride hoodies in 2025.
