Review of Corpse Bride (2005) by Lexi F — 23 Aug 2011
I still believe in Tim Burton. Even though he did do the stupid Planet of the Apes remake, the atrocious Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and the disappointing Alice In Wonderland. That all said, he still is a favorite director of mine and Corpse Bride is a really good film.
I never was really impressed with this kind of animation, but I loved the storyline and the script was great as well. The cast, characters, and performances were solid. I also thought the songs were a lot of fun to.
Is it Burton's best movie? No, not by any means. It still however is a really fun, highly entertaining movie that's great for the whole family to enjoy.
