Review of Corpse Bride (2005) by William B — 19 Sep 2013
This is a stop motion masterpiece from Tim Burton. This film has a lot of great moments in the movie like the music. Even though some of the music can be Forgettable when Compared to The Nightmare before Christmas, they are still pretty good.
The Stop motion is perfected in this movie where everything moves more organic like and not robotic. The soundtrack is beautiful by Danny Elfman who gives use a fun yet dramatic Experience with it. But I thing the films strongest points is the characters themselves.
The emotion that the's puppets make is so emotional, that its almost real. The story is good for a Tim Burton film. The voice acting is also well done. I give Corpse bride a 4 out of 5 stars. I gave it 4 because even though it has a lot to Offer that's great, the problem is that the villain is very Obvious and Forgettable, and really dose this story need a villain? But anyway great movie, I say check it out.
