Review of Corpse Bride (2005) by Yuki O — 13 Nov 2014

I strongly think that Corpse Bride is an amazing Tim Burton's movie.

First, this movie was directed by Tim Burton who is a famous and popular director. In my view, most of his movies are slightly mysterious. I like it very much.

This is a fantasy animation movie. It's produced by stop motion animation photography. All the things that appear are dolls and they are expressed like a real human. For example, the atmosphere of the main character which seems to be no confidence is expressed very well.

In addition, there are a lot of an interesting songs in this film.

As for his films, a sound track is splendid. It's like a musical. I think that it to be able to enjoy from a child to an adult.

This movie attracted attention very much because the voice actor of the main characters were Jhonny Depp and Emily Watson.

As a result, this movie was nominated for the Academy Award Feature Film Award, and won the best Animated Feature Award of the 2005 Nation Board of Review Award.

My opinion is that this movie should attract attention more in Japan.

Some weird characters appear in this movie, but you will feel they looks lovely while you are watching. There are many unique characters and they are also amusing.

Actually, I recommend you to watch this movie and you will be impressed in the end.
