Review of Corky Romano (2001) by Eric On His Fantasy Quest V — 15 Jan 2010

This film is hilarious throguhout! It's where I first became a fan of Chris Kattan, he's one of the best comedians (that isn't as well known, but should be) and I really love him. He's funny in everything he does and Corky Romano is my favorite film with him in. I especially loved the scene where Corky accidentally gets high on cocaine after wrestling the packet from one of the police dogs, which then accidentally bursts, and they both inhale it! It's a really funny scene and the best of the film, as he is at his most funniest in that scene!!!!

The best lines (in no particular order):

Corky: "I never thought I'd live to see the day that an FBI agent would be peddling smack.".

Agent Brick Davis: "Don't act so surprised. J. Edgar Hoover used to wear a dress.".

Corky: "Just tell me why, Brick.".

Agent Brick Davis: "I don't know. I suppose it made him feel sexy.".

Corky: "Not Hoover, You.".

[after setting off an airport metal detector].

Corky: "I'm just a little wired.".

[Nervous chuckle].

Corky: "Ahh, I'm mean wired as in jumpy, not as in there's a concealed wire in my crotch.".

Corky: "I should buy a boat!" (said while high on cocaine, you have to see the scene to truly understand how funny that line is!).
