A perfect blend of subject matter and medium, this is visually stunning and emotionally gripping. This film combines all the hallmarks of a ripping good yarn: a feisty heroine we can root for, a suspense-filled plot, a truly terrifying baddy, with mesmerising images oozing from every frame.
The creepy setting and archetypal story plays on one's primal fears and childhood nightmares, insuring this will stay with you long after the credits roll.
