Review of Coraline (2009) by Jordan P — 28 Jan 2013

Perhaps it's the Neil Gaiman fangirl in me, but I wasn't overly impressed with Coraline. It felt ridiculously rushed and my favorite character from the book (the cat) didn't come across as eerie as I'd hoped.

I don't think the 3D was really necessary either, but the house was just as I imagined it. I wish the characters looked more disturbing like book art, but if this was aimed toward children I can understand the changes.
