One word... creepy! I was surprised that this was actually a kids movie because not only are the graphics and imagery on the spooky side, but the concept itself is very dark! In saying that, Coraline is very well done with exceptional visual animation.
But it is undoubtedly the story that brings this up a tier; original, inventive and very intriguing, Coraline sucks you in just like the hidden locked door itself.
