Review of Coraline (2009) by Jude G — 21 Apr 2015
Fantastically creepy, beautifully animated, hauntingly wonderful. Coraline is my favorite stop-motion animation movie ever made. Hell, it's one of my favorite movies in general. It's so surreal and yet convincing, by the end of the film you're fully immersed into the world of Coraline.
The characters are quirky and memorable, the plot from the mind of Neil Gaiman is eerily brilliant, the soundtrack is haunting, and it's an overall fun / terrifying experience.
