Humanity has a tremendous impact on coral reefs. We have to recognize their importance and their fragility. Some scientists estimate that 90% of the world's reefs could disappear in the next 30 years due to changes in sea temperature. Billions and billions of marine animals and plants would die with the reefs, taking away not only their beauty, but also the sustenance for the people who live in the coasts.
