Slow moving with one dimensional characters, portraying the Unionists as jackasses and the Peace Democrats as heroes. Where would we be if they had succeeded? Who knows but a slave society at our door, undoubtedly sympathtetic to Hitler? The movie was just awful.
A Vast And Fiendish Conspiracy would make a better movie, depicting the South's attempts at terrorist activities in this very part of the country as well as NYC, supported by the same gold that made it into Boothe's hands.
