For years, Kevin Smith apologized for "Mallrats" but seemed quick to defend this piece of dog shit and riff on the critics who didn't like it. Obviously, Kevin Smith must have pulled a Hitchcock by not looking into the camera at once while directing this movie.

He was probably too busy counting the money he got paid to direct this movie to pay any attention. This is an unfunny movie that tries to be a parody that has been done several times before and a lot better, "Lethal Weapon" and "The Last Boy Scout" were a joy to watch and the director knew how to make an action comedy, not a droll movie about two cops doing nothing for about 2 hours.

For a movie with a complex plot, it should have been enjoyable but becomes muddled. Apparently, Bruce Willis wants to sell his favored baseball card to pay for his daughter's wedding because he is on a month's suspension with no pay.

But when the card is robbed by Seann William Scott during an armed robbery, him and partner Tracy Morgan, proving that his funny days are behind him on Saturday Night Live, go in search of it and it leads them to Guillermo Diaz, trying to do a parody on Hispanic gangsters, but poorly phoning it in.

It's a bad idea. Bruce Willis has always been doing a parody of touch cop roles, but here, he is worthless. The script gives him nothing to do. The word is that Kevin Smith is going to make a straight-up horror movie next.

Let's hope, it's not worth than this.
