Kevin Smith's worst flick. At least he didn't write this one. It's too bad though. I still have mad love for the guy. Everyone looked like they had fun in the movie, and occasionally there were some really funny moments.
Unfortunately, those moments were too few and far between. The story was terrible. It felt like Kevin Smith had no idea how to tell it. I get the homage to buddy cop movies that I grew up worshipping, but I'd honestly rather see a well done and engaging buddy cop homage than a parody of one.
Still, I didn't walk out hating Cop Out. Just disappointed.
