Review of Cop Out (2010) by Skyler I — 09 Jul 2011
Cliche and juvenile as it may be, Cop Out is still a pretty good time if there's nothing else on to watch. At times the film can be almost embarrassingly bad. It suffers from an incredibly slow pace and a lot of blue humor.
It's at times like this that it's a relief that Kevin Smith only directed this movie. He didn't write it. It also has a lot of hilarious parody of the buddy cop genre and a funny running gag about goofy boots.
There's enough funny in this film to make it watchable, but too much unfunny to make it very rewatchable.
