I can't believe that this disastrous mess was Directed by Kevin Smith. The gags are painful and the pacing issues make Cop Out a depressing viewing experience. Bruce Willis' acting talents and capabilities where absent in this film and the supporting cast featuring Tracy Morgan and Sean William Scott offer no comic relief and are instead annoying.
Cop Out fails to convincingly homage 80's buddy cop movies and despite all the worn out cliches, there is nothing about this film that is nostalgic or enjoyable.
