Review of Cop Land (1997) by Phillip H — 13 Mar 2011
As pretty much everybody says, this is truly an underrated classic. Sylvester Stallone puts in easily one of his best performances as a small-town, simple sheriff of a town inhabited by cops. He's really, REALLY good.
He's in line with his acting superiors, De Niro, Keitel and Liotta in what could be a Scorsese movie without the style.
