Review of Cop Land (1997) by Syed R — 21 Apr 2013
Holy hell this was a pretty awesome film, it's almost like a good companion to Goodfellas. It's a hard boiled cop drama full of corruption and Sly is the quiet man sheriff who gets involved in it.
The cast is stellar, Stallone, De Niro, Liotta, Robert Patrick, Rapaport, ect, ect all gave a memorable performance. It's such a shame this never became popular when it came out but hopefully it's gonna change.
High recommended.
