Review of Cop Land (1997) by Josh S — 22 Sep 2012

This film is about a sheriff (Stallone) of Garrison, NJ. And the town is populated almost entirely by member of the New York City Police Department. The problem is the Sheriff finds out that some of the cops are not as pure as they say they are.

First, this is the best acting Sylvester Stallone has ever done. You feel for his character, and you want to see his character come out on top by the end of it. Second, the story does get a little boring in the middle of the film.

after about an hour of just watching the people of Garrison look down upon the sheriff like him is some retard person. You kind of want the story to move on and get to its climax. And thirdly, the ending to this film is just great.

Everybody gets their just desserts. So all and all this is a great cop drama that really pulls on the heart stings.
