My boyfriend is a huge movie buff and I just went along for the ride. I'm glad that I did. It's a great movie with great performances, especially from the child actors. Boring? No. Glad it took the time to build some suspense when it could've have just been the typical psycho highway chase film.
Some people have just gotten use to the ADHD type of filmmaking most filmmakers use today. It's a slow burner and may be too slow for some but it's well worth it if you enjoy these types of movies.
A solid piece of work that I enjoyed more and more as it went along.
