Heres one of my guilty pleasures. I love Cooley High. Maybe its because it was the inspitatiopn for one of my favorite t.v. shows growing up...Whats Happening. But really its a well made film and its take on urban youth growing up in the 60s seems pretty damn acurate? But then how the fuck would I know...i was swimming around in my dads balls at that time!
Good performances all around and its great to see Freddie "Boom Boom" Washington as the doomed Cochise. Great little film. And funny too.
