OK, so it's a "prison" movie. "What we've got here is failure to communicate." No really, why didn't anybody tell me to watch this movie sooner. Newman was great. I think it might be his best role.
Its story waivers occasionally, however it has so many compelling aspects. I've always liked The Shawshank Redemption, though now I see why Luke is a classic.
