Review of Cool Hand Luke (1967) by Ryan K — 25 Mar 2009
This movie caught me off guard and I didn't like it for like 10 minutes after I watched it. Then I thought it through and realized it was very good. Paul Newman gives one of his definitive roles swimmingly.
All in all this is an American Classic worthy of anyone's admiration. It is funny, interesting, and above all thought provoking character study. Watch it for Newman's character if nothing else.
