My favorite movie of all-time. If you don't enjoy Cool Hand Luke, I don't know what to tell you. Paul Newman plays Lucas Jackson, probably the coolest individual to come across a movie screen. Jackson is sent to a southern chain gang where he doesn't play by the rules, and pays for it.
Newman performance is epic, and his character embodies perseverance, toughness, and humor. His supporting cast is excellent, you're cheering for Newman the entire way. I get so caught up in this movie I still laugh and cry.
Cool Hand Luke takes the idea of coolness, and portrays onto the screen perfectly. Honestly, the movie leaves me with a lack of words to describe it, except wonderful. This movie is one of the only movies my Grand-father, Dad, and I can all agree is AWESOME.
