This is best Jail Movie I ever saw. Paul Newman as a Man who fight for his Country which thank him for arrest him for Demolating Parkometers for Two Years. A Story of a Man who fight against the Evil System and never buckle down allthough they beat the Crap out of him but it don't matter who hard, tricky and resistant you are the System will hunt you down you got no Chance in this World ruled by Systems, Bosses and Guns.
A Colourful Libertarian Critism on States and it's Terror. Paul Newman is faboulous and with together with George Kennedy they are a hillarious Duo. The Film is grandious directed and shot and the Music is bombastic everything is perfect in this Movie I like this Southern Style.
