Review of Cook Off (2017) by Jill E — 18 Nov 2017
I love Mockumentaries and Melissa McCarthy. But Getting to spend time with iconic characters of the 80s was an extra treat. The actors played characters with such clueless earnesty that it made it fun to cringe and laugh at them Gary Anthony Williams is an unsung comic talent who stole his scenes just as he did in "Malcom in the Middle".
What a gift to see the captain of the Love Boat and the secretary of Bob Newhart in the same screen. I spent many Saturday nights with them and this movie gave me that same good feeling. Silly lighthearted fun.
Cathryn Michon is great in this. What a multi-talent.
