Review of Conviction (2010) by Lilianetty L — 18 Feb 2011
Defenetly if something like this (I hope it NEVER happens obviously) happens to my brother, I would ALSO study laws for him. Being a lawyer is something I find boring to study but it can save lives....or punish it forever (some lawyers are not good).
Plot: Betty has a mission as the younger sister of Kenny Waters, and is save him from prison. Is based on a true story about the same brother and sister issue and how in 18 years all this madness ended in happiness. Truly inspiring. Some stars for that!
Acting: Wow, I just wowed! Hilary Swank as Betty Waters was incredible and stunning. I dunno if the real life Betty was like that, but if she was, defenetly was inspiring and heartbreaking. Same Sam as Kenny Waters. Truly wonderful acting and those skills are incredible! The rest of the cast did stunning and beautiful too. Some stars for that too.
Music: Inspiring score. Now this is a score I would hear if I'm in a mix of emotions. IS relaxing, joyful, sometimes sad but not in a emo way ok? Anyway, wonderful score, so, many stars too here.
To end this review, 4 stars of 5. Is a story that will not only will make you think of how police works (not all of them are good EITHER, same the lawyers and laws, like that quote says in spanish but I will translate it: the one who creates the laws, creates the trap), but also how a case can be solved by a family strong feeling. Enjoy and HASTA LA PROXIMA COLEGAS!
