Review of Conversations with Other Women (2006) by Justine S — 25 Aug 2007
A simple, but highly effective little film a man and a woman who "used" to be in love meet at a wedding. Using split scene (because there are two sides of every relationship) we get an interesting and unique perspective on what could have been a pedestrian film.
It's not just a gimmick though, and flashbacks or alternate situations are integrated. Carter and Eckhart are brilliant. The film isn't perfect though, the pacing is a little off, but it still manages to sustain itself throughout.
