Review of Conversations with Other Women (2006) by Moya W — 11 Jan 2011
Didn't finish it. It wasn't terrible, but I'm just getting kind of sick of seeing movies revolving around adulterous liasons , as if it's cute or ideal, or even okay. Although the split-screen idea was unique and inventive, I'm one of those people that can't focus too well on two activities going on in the same screen.
Reading subtitles has never been an issue for me, ironically, but trying to keep up with two separate events unfolding side-by-side (as was often the case in this film) proved taxing, and I didn't care enough about the movie to try to persevere through it.
Hey, I gave it a shot at least.
