Review of Conversations with Other Women (2006) by Samuel B — 26 Mar 2011
This movie was recommended by a friend of mine, and I have thanked him multiple times ever since I've seen it. Ultimately this movie is a big "What If?" and everyone has had one of those in their lives, but this takes it further and includes "We Did" and "What Now?" But (for me) the thing that resonates with me is the way this movie is told.
They purposefully unravel each piece of the story (like an onion peel) painstakingly slow so you're apt to pay attention to the subtleties (and surprises) but also be drawn in with the real time/split screen effect of the story.
It's like the tv series "24" but with romance and a lot of drama. Very good film.
