Review of Conversations with My Gardener (2007) by Dave J — 18 Jan 2009
A very charming, witty and subtly powerful film about friendship and about remembering what's really important in life. The two main characters are well written and well portrayed, and there are some delightful comic touches as the two reunited old friends overcome their widely different social situations and learn from each other.
It's certainly not a film for action addicts, but the dialogue is highly entertaining and sometimes touching, and the French countryside looks lovely.
