10/04/10 Anton Corbijn's perfect filmic telling of the story of Joy Division and Ian Curtis. Sam Riley does a wonderful job of portraying Curtis, and Samantha Morton is equally good in her portrayal of Deborah Curtis.
Some of Riley's musical performances are electrifying, giving us a glimpse of what Joy Division was...You can feel Ian's confusion, pain and remorse through stark black-and-white photos... brilliantly made.
