Review of Control (2007) by James H — 25 May 2010
Probably the best biopic i've seen to date. an engaging dramatic story arc with some terrific performances. very effective cinematic look to the film as well. as 'Control' progresses it does miss out on some key opportunities to get in closer and feel more likability for the central character, Ian but makes up for it with a constantly engaging storyline and stylistic filmmaking techniques.
