Contraband is nothing new to the genre, but the cast tries to make due with the lousy script thats given to them. Although the cast tries to make this action thriller work with their try hard performances, you cannot ignore the lousy script and dull plot that is presented with the film.

Overall Contraband depends on too much on the actors to make the film work instead of creative writin g and a better plot leaving us with an uneven cheesy thriller.
