Review of Contraband (2012) by Mike L — 08 Nov 2012
Essentially, this is a Mark Wahlberg movie to a tee; he excels at anything physical, he is always several steps ahead of good guys and bad guys, and he comes out unscathed in the end. Oh, and he's a criminal too.
That being said, it just as enjoyable as all of his other slick crime flicks (see The Italian Job for example). Ribisi is a lot of fun in this role, but Foster's role was fairly evident from the get-go.
There were several interesting twists, but nothing groundbreaking.
