For the first hour, it was really boring generic shit that we've all seen a billion times before, but then something happened that made me go "Oh wait a second, now THAT is what this film needed".

Of course my optimism lasted the grand total of 5 minutes as it reverted straight back to the way it was before. The studio/powers that be didn't have the balls to follow through with the twist they teased us with and instead chose to churn out another spoonful of spunk.
