Review of Contraband (1980) by Lee ? — 14 Sep 2011
Something a bit different by Lucio Fulci as he dives into gangster territory with this tale of feuding smuggler gangs in Naples. The story is fairly straight-forward but it's worth watching for fans of ultraviolence and sleaze as this one notches up a high amount of bloody carnage, a bit of nudity and an unpleasant little rape scene.
It's all nicely paced and never boring but it's far from the likes of The Godfather.
