Review of Continental Divide (1981) by Sam M — 29 Mar 2015

This movie was released just 6 months before John Belushi's tragic passing and was the only romantic comedy he ever starred in. While the movie got mediocre credit when it was released, the film has gotten more attention over the years.

This movie showcases Belushi as the true actor he really was, not just a comedian. It's a real shame that we couldn't see more of his talent and abilities before he died. Sure there are plenty of rom-coms that have come out over the years that are superior to "Continental Divide", but none that feature the brilliance of a star that was lost far too soon.
