Review of Contempt (1963) by Yertle T — 29 May 2009
I'm such a heretic on this one; there are many more Godards I like much better than this. There's a beauty to this movie, but the only thing in it that rings somewhat true is its dissection of a failing marriage, and yet one has to sort of care about the spouses, which, frankly, I don't.
