Review of Contempt (1963) by Augustine H — 06 Aug 2014
Simply fascinating. the dynamics of attraction never popped more than in this mesmerizing film. a movie in which the director plays with perspective and scope as much as with music and photography. watching this, I felt played with and flirted with and ultimately, discarded.
It felt like a challenge to anyone ensnared in its gaze.
