Alien rip-off set on earth to avoid copyright issues and an obvious lack of budget (as the Italian title, "Alien arriva sulla terra", blatantly acknowledges). But don't let that put you off, as this is a cut above your average spaghetti sci-fi.
(That said, if you have no previous experience of Italian exploitation cinema the rating drops to two and a half stars as it is something of an acquired taste.).
