Review of Contagion (2011) by Kelly L — 09 Aug 2013
First Haz-Mat: [Putting a body in a mass grave] When did we run out of body bags?
Second Haz-Mat: Two days ago.
"Nothing spreads like fear".
This is one of the most realistic movies I've seen. Contagion has a frightening realistic intelligent story with a true all star cast giving all around great performances. It's thrilling and suspenseful and makes you want to be more aware of yourself after your done watching the movie. The cast does a great job at portraying there reactions in such a scary situation and also credit to the director and writers for crafting a good, not great story that could've sucked like the original. Laurence Fishbourne, Jude Law, Marion Cotillard, who is incredibly pretty, and Kate Winslet were all at their a game while Matt Damon was good too. In it's genre, Contagion is a perfectly crafted movie with sharp direction, flashy special effects/cinematography, an awesome score, and a truly great cast.
